Jo Einstandig pledges $250,000 to help eliminate financial barriers with Bridge the Gap Scholarships

Jo Einstandig ’61, GR ’67 made the lead gift to launch Indiana State University’s Bridge the Gap Scholarship as part of the Be So BOLD campaign, continuing her lifelong dedication to student success. Her $250,000 pledge helps ensure that financial barriers do not stand between students and their dreams of earning a degree. Einstandig also made the lead gift to the Sycamore Success Scholarship Fund, a strategic initiative created by President Mike Godard to support incoming freshmen and strengthen enrollment efforts at Indiana State.

Class of '61

Einstandig served the Vigo County School Corporation and held VP roles in multiple companies for more than 20 years, in addition to serving as an emeritus director of the Indiana State University Foundation Board. Her dedication to the University was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2018.
